- You avoid participating in things you enjoy for fear of leaking.
- You get uncontrollable urges to go to the bathroom that you cannot ignore.
Urinary Incontinence Treatment
Urinary Incontinence treatments vary depending on the severity of a patient’s condition. Medications such as topical estrogen or Anticholinergic, which calm overactive bladders, are common treatments for urinary incontinence. Additional treatment options include physical therapy, urethral inserts and bladder training exercises. There are also surgical procedures that can help urinary incontinence if treatments aren’t working.
